After Morning Practice

"Hellllooo..." Sharp, waving his hands.

"YO! KANER!"

"Huh?" looking as though he just got stunned.

Sharp smirks combined with a “you're clueless“ kind of head shake.

"What!" now Kane's glaring at Sharp.

“Since when did you become like Tazer? Why so serious?

Pfft… whatever.”

"Kane, seriously, what the hell's been up with you? You've been off on another planet all morning.”

Paying as little attention to Sharp, he said nothing, but shrugged his shoulders in response.

"Well, for starter's kid...." Sharp continues again, "you do realize that you are in the shower with all of your gear on?"

He looks down to see to what Sharp had pointed out, and he actually wasn't joking, I am still wearing all my gear.

What the hell has she done to me?

This girl has completely taken over my mind. I have never felt this way about any girl before.

Patrick's POV                              all.over.ur.body/danny.fernandes

Not long after Sharp leaves, I leave the shower too, feeling now like I weight a few thousand tons. I make my way back to my stall, and I begin peel off my wet gear. The room is beginning to empty, and my mind is starting to wonder all over again.

I only saw her that one time, yesterday, in the parking lot. Watching her walking so smoothly through the slush, until she just reached her car when she slips slightly on an icy patch. She manages to regain her balance, without falling down though, but I've got to admit, it upset me a little. Leaving me with no opportunity to wrap my arms around her, and warm her up from a cold fall.

But then, low and behold another opportunity strikes, as she tries to start up her car, it wouldn't. And seeing her take out her frustrations on the steering wheel, made her that much more attractive. From there she had all control over me. God, what a smile and those eyes...

I’m exiting out of the shower again, but this time without my all my gear on, only wearing a towel wrapped around my waist. I notice that all the guys have left and now It feels a bit little eerie being so quiet. Not giving it another thought, otherwise, I just shrugged it off.

I walk up to my stall and begin to organize my gear, but as I'm doing that, there's a sound of the door opening, and closing, but no sound of any footsteps walking in.

"Sharp if that's you..." I call from over my shoulder.

"Well..." a female voice interrupting me from behind, "Sorry to disappoint you but Sharp isn‘t here." she whispers, grazing her lips against my ear.

No need for guessing whose sweet voice it is, I turn and she's right there, no further than a foot away. While taking a quick look over, she's got her hair in a loose ponytail, and she’s wearing a red trench coat along with some hot black peep toe heels. Damn, she’s looking fine.

She takes a grab for my towel, but I’m too quick; I spin her around, wrap her in my arms and whisper in her ear.

"Slow down baby... because I promise you, it will be worth the wait." following with a little nibble on her earlobe.

Feeling her body melt into mine, I notice the corner of her lips beginning curling into a half smile. God, she doesn’t have a clue what she does to me.

She manages to wriggle herself around to face me and she brings a leg up and wrap it around my mine. In her heels, we're almost meeting eye to eye. Being able to look her straight in the eye like this, this close, I could see how much she was yearning for me. But it sure as hell can’t be as much as I’m wanting to jump her bones right now.

Without saying a word, she sits me down and straddles herself on my lap. Wrapping her arms around my neck, bringing her face in so close to mine. Our lips just brush each other, as she moves hers up my jaw line to my ear and down my neck. As she‘s doing this, she takes one hand, I feel her slowly tugging at my towel again, loosening it. I know she's just teasing me now, as she is stroking me through the towel, but In return though, I bring my hands up and begin to slowly unbutton her coat, and she doesn't even try to stop me.

As I get down to the last few buttons, she places a hand between my shoulder blades, still stroking me with the other, she straightens herself up, rolling her shoulders back, pushing out her chest into my face. At this point I couldn't hold out any longer... I rip the rest of the buttons loose, revealing this sexy little black dress underneath.

She removes her coat, letting dropping it to the floor. She takes my face in her hands and I move my hands down to her ass, sliding her up closer to me, her lips collided with mine in a fiery embrace.

That was it… She has taken her time with me long enough. She has crossed the line, and I had to take her right here and now, while sitting in my stall.

Just as we were both getting into a good rhythm, with my hands on her hips that are grinding into mine and her nails beginning to dig deeper into my back...

*SLAM!*
The sound of a door slamming shut.

One /-/ Can This Be Luck?

haven't.met.you.yet/michael.bublé

Okay… there’s no need to panic. It is only a minor glitch, just a small inconvenience, everything will be okay. The car will start, I will drive out of this slippery, snow-packed parking lot, and I will get home in one piece.

Well… I can hope, can’t I?

Crossing my fingers, as I’m turning the key in the ignition, I attempt to start the engine of the ‘98 Hyundai Accent GS, but again there is still nothing. Not a sound.

Fuck! Now I can panic.

I look out the windshield, wishing my friend’s piece of shit car would start so I didn’t have to go out into the blizzard of wind and snow. Now that the snow is coming down even harder -if that was even possible- and from what I’ve heard on the radio this morning the temperature would only reach a high of 22 degrees. Whatever that temperature is.

So… with a deep breath and much reluctance I get out of the car and make a run for a nearby cover of the United Center arena. Knowing that I can’t leave the car stranded in the near empty parking lot, I call for a tow truck, then call my friend about her car. As I'm doing that, I notice a woman leaving the building. Walking rather briskly, stumbling through the slush, making her way to her car. Still oblivious to there being a couple of other doors right behind me, I abruptly get hit from behind, just as I finish dialling the number for the tow truck.

The hit was enough to make me lose my balance but somehow, the person that was on the other side of the door caught me before I fell down to the cold, hard concrete. Still with my cell phone up against my ear, I look up and over my shoulder, I see this tall, good looking and apparently well-built guy, who still has his arm wrapped around me. I don’t know if it was -and I hope it wasn’t- a horrified look that I might have had on my face but he quickly pulled his arm away and stepped aside.

“I’m sorry… I…” he apologizes, raising his hands in surrender.

“Hey, you know what,” I quickly interrupt, “it’s okay… I’m fine.” closing my phone and shoving it into my pocket. “Thank-you.“ I added.

“I'm sorry.” he apologized again, “I should have paid more attention to where I was going.”

“Like I said,” looking him over, “it’s okay. Besides I didn’t get hurt.”

“But you could have been.” he paused while looking at me sympathetically, “Really though… I mean… well… it is some bad weather out here and this ice...”

After a moment of silence between us, he broke it by asking,

“Would you like to go out for a coffee we me some time? Just because, well, I'd like to make it up to you.”

“Sure, that would be great.” eagerly agreeing to his offer with a little more enthusiasm than I expected.

“Good. Okay, uh…” stumbling, excitedly on his words.

“You have a pen?” I ask, noticing he’s trying to find a way to ask for my number.

“Umm,” he’s patting down his pockets searching for a pen. “Here.” He finds one in the inside pocket of his dress jacket.

I take the pen, grab his hand and write out my number.

“Call me.” giving him the best smile I could muster, before I turned to walk back toward the car.

Hey..." he called, reaching out and lightly laying his hand on my arm, "I didn’t get your name. My name’s Jonathan.”

“My name is Julia.”

“Beautiful name.”

“Thank-you.” I gush, feeling my face becoming a new shade of red, ultimately creating a small crooked smile to come across his face.

With that slight embarrassment of not introducing myself earlier, I headed back towards the car, and with one last look back in his direction as I reach for the door handle, he smiles, waves, and steps back into the arena.

I get into the car and I find myself ecstatic! I have just given my number to Jonathan Toews! The Captain of the Chicago Blackhawks. Now with a rather large smile plastered across my face, I try to start the car, then I remember as I turn the key, that it doesn't start.

So I take out my sudden anger on the steering wheel. Throwing a couple punches and yelling out some more words of profanity, when I hear a couple taps on the window beside me. Much more to my embarrassment, behind the glass was a man with curly blond hair standing there, and I roll down my window.

“Got some car troubles?” he asks.

“Uh… yeah.” trying to play it cool. “My car won’t start.”

“Maybe because you left your headlights on.” he mentions as he points down to the dial for the headlights.

I scoff, as I realized my mistake.

“Well… I could give you a jump if you like. I'm parked right behind you."

“That definitely would be great."

"Okay, I just bring my truck around to the stall right in front of you here." he put in before turning away to get his truck.

It wasn’t more than ten minutes before I was able to start up the car again and he was back at my window.

“Thank-you.” flashing him a smile.

“You’re welcome, …” reciprocating back to me a smile, and pausing, waiting for me to give him my name.

“Julia.”

“You’re welcome, Julia. I'm Patrick, by the way.”

Thank you, Patrick.”

As he began to make his way back to his truck, he spun back around, running back to my window.

“Hey… would you like to catch a movie with me sometime? Maybe this weekend?” he asked.

“Sure…”

“Awesome. Can I have your number?”

“Yeah.” I reach over to the glove box for a pen and he already had his hand out for me to write down my number.

“I’ll call you later.”

“Sounds good.” I reply, as he again he makes his way back to his truck.

He drives off, and I sit there for another moment thinking… how did I ever get this lucky?

Intro

So this story is based on a Canadian girl who moves to the city of Chicago on a working visa. She just gets a job at the United Center, the home of the Chicago Blackhawks, as a host at the Ketel One Club. It's not her dream job but she needs the income in order to jump start into her dream career of becoming a photographer.

So the day she's told she has got the job, she happens to run into the two youngest members of the Blackhawks team.

One by accident. And the other one by chance?

As it turns out, both guys seem to show interest in her. But, which one will be able to steal her heart?

The heart wants, what the heart wants... [ which is the right man. ] Then again, will that be enough to out beat what her mind, body, and soul craves...

So... when it comes down to the wire, will she be able to choose just one?
